In late 2020, the Learning Disabilities Association of Montgomery County (Maryland) was awarded a grant to create a brochure on the subject of forming social groups for the community of adults with learning disabilities. The LDAMC has twenty years of experience working with groups in their area.
I was initially asked to design the brochure layout. I was also asked to create some spot illustrations (also called ‘cartoons’) to illustrate each of the pages.
This is a sneak peek of the work-in-progress. I will post the finished project when it is final and a place to download, if you are interested. Here are two of my favorite illustrations, hand drawn and colored using Adobe Fresco.
